How many petsitters can be booked per search?

Only one Petsitter can be booked at a given time per search, so you can not book two simultaneously.

Although uncommon, you can cancel and book another person up to two times on the same search. After this, you would have to create a new search.

It is best to fully discuss as much as you can to prevent cancellations from occurring.
