Are the petsitters hired by you?

The Petsitters are not hired by us. Petsitters sign up to become part of our network. However, our priority is and has always been your pet’s safety and happiness. Therefore, we have multiple processes in place to ensure the quality of Petsitters when they sign up and throughout their time on Holidog.

We have a validation process when the Petsitters sign up, such as age restrictions; only over 18s are accepted. Our advisors carefully review each profile and only accept profiles that meet the Holidog standards.

Another feature we have put in place is a feedback system for Petsitters whereby clients are encouraged to leave detailed and honest reviews on their pets' time away. You can browse through all client reviews to help you with your decision!

If you have changed your mind about a selected Petsitter after you have booked and had the first meeting, you can always re-launch your search for free by clicking on the "Reject this Petsitter and choose another" button found on the right of the page when you are on the booking page. Do let us know about any concerns or issues you might have so we can investigate!
