Why do people who I did not notify contact me?

When you launch a search and have only selected a few people Holidog automatically notifies additional Petsitters who:

a) Fit your initial criteria
b) Have a great reputation on our site

You can disable this feature but we would recommend you to notify 15-20 Petsitters yourself if you have not already done so. 

To turn automatic suggestions off, you simply have to click on 'Current Searches' which is on the drop down list next to your name. Then, you will see this at the bottom of the page:

Here you have the option to turn off or turn on the Automatic Petsitter suggestion.
