We always recommend that the pet owner and Petsitter meet before an assignment takes place as this allows all details of the assignment to be checked. Also, it allows the client's pet to see the Petsitter, their family and/or animals (if you have animals of course!) for the first time.
However, remember that in order to get details to meet, such as addresses, the booking must be complete first. If you then decide not to go through with the booking after meeting, you can cancel the booking and re-start a search for another Petsitter that is more suitable! Just make sure you leave plenty of time between your first meeting and the assignment so you have time to find a new petsitter.
