There are no cancellation fees on Holidog and so it does not cost money to cancel the petsitter. However, we kindly ask you to inform the Petsitter in advance if a booking cannot take place, as they have scheduled the appointment and need to know if they can take on another assignment instead. If a booking is cancelled you have the opportunity to book an alternative Petsitter for no extra charge.
In order to do so, go to "My Bookings":
and then click on "DETAILS". Once there, under the details of the Petsitter you have booked, you can click on the button "Reject this petsitter and look for another one", this will bring you to a screen where you can notify new Petsitters or simply speak with Petsitters you had already contacted.
Please bear in mind that we are currently experiencing technical issues with the mobile app and site, therefore a lot of features are not available on these platforms. Our tech team is working on it, and hopefully it will be running soon. If you do not have access to a PC or laptop, please get into contact with us and we will help you over the phone.
